Winery of the Week: Joubert Family Wines

Directly opposite a famous Stellenbosch estate, Simonsig, the Joubert family's 17th-century Koelenhof Farm has its own rich heritage, with winegrowing a feature since 1940, when paterfamilias Pierre began producing in bulk. The first bottled wine came only in 2001, a cabernet-cinsaut released by Attie Joubert and son Hentas. Now, after 21 years, Hentas, wife Elizna and son Attie jnr are delighted to offer a small bottled collection, made on-site, where tastings are available along with facilities for families and businesspeople.
